I started as a designer because I wanted to make things. I became a marketer because I wanted those things to matter. Now I use AI to make both happen faster, smarter, and at scale. With a foundation in visual communication, a sharp focus on ROI, and a habit of building tools that didn't exist yet, I bring a perspective most marketing teams simply don't have.
From AI-powered tools built from scratch to campaigns that moved the needle. Here's what I've been working on.
Every project starts with a problem. Here's how I approached it, what I built, and what happened next.
Experiential marketing events have always had a measurement problem. Brands invest heavily in activations (custom fabrications, on-site experiences, staff, logistics) but walk away with little more than attendance estimates and gut feelings. Our clients needed real data to justify their spend and prove ROI.
I built a solution from scratch using Claude Code and AI. The application uses a standard phone camera to monitor the activation space in real time, no expensive hardware, no third-party platforms required.
From a live test session
The company's warehouse held a large and constantly changing inventory of custom fabrication materials and branded event assets. Tracking was manual, inconsistent, and invisible to clients, who often needed to know what was available before planning an activation.
Using Claude AI and spreadsheet automation, I built an inventory management system that syncs directly to a live web catalog, complete with linked product images, descriptions, and availability, updated automatically as inventory changes. Clients can select assets directly from the catalog, which generates a shareable list they can distribute to their team via email.
A craft products manufacturer was underperforming across Amazon, Walmart.com, Michaels, and other major retail platforms. Listings were stagnant, social presence was minimal, and the blog generated almost no traffic, with no budget for increased advertising.
A comprehensive eCommerce and content overhaul: rebuilt listings with strategic keywords and A+ content, launched tutorial-driven social content designed for the maker community, optimized Amazon PPC, and built an SEO blog from scratch with influencer partnerships to extend reach. In 2019, also built a full eCommerce website from scratch for the company's industrial adhesives line, extending their digital presence into a B2B market they hadn't served online before.
A multi-department seasonal business with no online presence, no eCommerce, and almost no social media. Significant revenue was being left on the table every season with no way for customers to order bulk landscape materials online.
Built the entire digital presence from zero: eCommerce platform, full SEO strategy, social media growth, and all marketing materials across every department including nursery, florist, sports, and hardscape divisions over a 12-year engagement.
Support corporate marketing across 38 real estate brokerages and hundreds of agents across New England under two brand identities simultaneously: Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and SVN Commercial, from a single headquarters.
Developed integrated campaigns across digital, print, email, and social. Built agent-ready templates for consistent brand delivery across all 38 locations. Implemented SEO and created performance reports and presentations for agents and leadership across both brands.
Years of event photography and video had accumulated into an unorganized archive of thousands of files with generic camera-assigned names. Finding specific content meant manually scrolling through thousands of images, costing the marketing team hours every time they needed assets for a proposal, presentation, or campaign.
Using Claude AI (Cowork), I built an automated file renaming workflow that analyzes each image or video and renames it by subject matter, content, and context. A file previously named "IMG_4872.jpg" becomes something like "brand-activation-booth-crowd-2025.jpg", instantly searchable, sortable, and useful.
Managing thousands of branded assets across clients, campaigns, and events is a logistics problem most agencies solve by paying for DAM software, which typically runs $5,000 to $15,000 per year. The agency needed a smarter, more flexible solution that didn't require a five-figure annual subscription.
I'm building a fully custom DAM system on top of Google Drive, with a dedicated website portal and a multi-tag organizational structure. Staff and clients access assets through a clean, searchable interface with filters by client, event, asset type, and campaign. The Google Drive backbone keeps storage costs near zero while the custom front end delivers the functionality of paid platforms.
From AI platforms built last year to marketing fundamentals built over a career.
My career started the way the best ones often do, a little sideways. I was studying graphic design in Florida when tuition got too steep to continue. My instructor believed in me enough to hire me as his design assistant instead, and I spent the next several years learning the real craft: fast, practical, client-first creative work that had to look great and get results. It was the foundation for everything that came after.
Over time, my curiosity pulled me toward marketing. I realized I didn't just want to build the visuals. I wanted to understand why they worked, who they reached, and how to sharpen that impact. I've worked on both sides of that equation, creating campaigns and also serving as the quality check on them, reviewing and approving assets for national clients before they ever left the agency. That dual perspective, and a habit of simplifying complex information for the people who need to act on it, led me into brand strategy, campaign execution, content development, and communications work tied directly to business outcomes.
The AI chapter started not because it was trendy, but because I recognized a real problem: too much time spent on tasks that could be smarter. I began using AI tools to automate, organize, and amplify the work my teams were already doing, building internal systems, streamlining content workflows, and bringing the people around me along for the ride.
Originally from the NH/MA border (35 minutes from Boston), I've lived in several states before settling permanently in Winston-Salem, NC. I'm a proud mom of two creative sons and an inventor with a couple of U.S. patents to my name. Making things is just how I think, whether that's a campaign, a workflow, or something nobody asked for yet.
Whether you're looking for a marketing strategist, an AI integration specialist, or someone who can do both. I'd love to connect. Based in Winston-Salem, NC. Open to remote opportunities.
